Ambassadors of the Way Outreach Program

The Way International

What is the Way Ambassador program?

Way Ambassador is an outreach program focused on personal spiritual growth in the broader context of a team, one that consists of other Word-centered men and women looking to serve God to a greater degree. The framework of the program includes participating in the following each day: quality time in the Word, time in prayer, fellowship with like-minded believers, and reaching out to others in the local community.

We find these important and proven ingredients for personal spiritual growth in Acts 2:42, where the believers continued in the apostles' doctrine, and in fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayers. The result of this was that the Lord added to the Church daily, as noted in verse 47.

Continuing the Legacy

The Way International has a rich heritage spanning over five decades of reaching out with God's Word. The early 1970s saw the advent of the Word Over the World (WOW) Ambassador program, which formed the basis of the Way Disciple program that would follow in the mid-1990s. Way Ambassador builds on the legacies left by our WOW Vets and Way Disciple Alumni and merges elements from those two programs into a contemporary format, fit for the twenty-first century.

Who are Way Ambassadors?

Way Ambassadors Group

Way Ambassadors are believing men and women who desire to set out on a fresh and meaningful service adventure!

Way Ambassadors lovingly

An Ambassador of the Way is a service-minded representative of the Lord Jesus Christ, bringing the good news of God's Word into specific communities.

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

II Corinthians 5:20

In a world where there is so much confusion about how to find God and where to find God, Jesus Christ lays out the path with astonishing clarity. He is the way to the Father. Ambassadors of the Way venture out into communities to freely and lovingly share this powerful truth.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 14:6

The Way Ambassador program runs in numerous countries around the world. It is designed to be flexible. Generally speaking, Way Ambassadors will participate on a national level, meaning they will move to a new part of the country with a group of teammates; or they will participate on a local level, meaning that teams will form in local areas.
